International Distinction for the PCS Wealth Management Solution

Athens, 18th December, 2012: PCS, a member of the SingularLogic group, achieved yet another international distinction by Oracle, during the 2012 Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco. More specifically, Oracle presented the PCS Wealth Management solution and Marfin Egnatia Bank, member of the Laiki Bank Group, with the Oracle Excellence Award for 2012 "Oracle Fusion Middleware Innovation for Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) – EMEA". By means of this award Oracle recognised PCS, an Oracle Platinum partner, and Marfin Egnatia Bank for their systematic innovation and dedication to the evolution of technology and business efficiency. The Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) is an integrated development framework which simplifies the development of Java EE applications, providing an innovative service infrastructure and an improved software development experience. Oracle ADF is a strategic technology which is used by Oracle's next generation business applications (Fusion Applications), whilst it may also be utilised for the array of applications through various channels and technologies (Web, Mobile, SOA etc). Concerning this distinction, Mr. George Ksenofos, PCS Vice President and Managing Director, stated: "PCS is greatly honoured by the awarding of Marfin Egnatia Bank with the Oracle Excellence Award: Oracle Fusion Middleware Innovation for the Wealth Management platform. This award brings recognition to PCS's efforts to provide its customers, such as Marfin Egnatia Bank, with high quality software and services.
