SingularLogic signed a memorandum of understanding to promote scientific collaboration in the field of smart building readiness

SingularLogic, a member of the Space Hellas group, signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at promoting scientific and educational cooperation in the Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) field. The MoU is signed also by the National Technical University of Athens, the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas / Information Technologies Institute (CERTH/ITI), the IsZEB Cluster, and the Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP).

The partners in this memorandum of understanding, possessing know-how and skills in the field of intelligent building preparedness, commit to a constructive promotion of their cooperation by exchanging knowledge and experience on matters related to SRI and specifically in:

  1. Common scientific and educational events and activities
  2. Consulting / scientific services and research studies
  3. Common participation in research and development programs (National - European - International)
  4. Exchange of information and know-how on matters of common interest

In the context of this collaboration, the partners will support the Ministry of Environment and Energy for the national test phase of SRI in Greece through the four (4) LIFE projects: SRI-ENACT, easySRI, Smart Square Project, and SRI2MARKET. The national test phase of SRI in Greece includes its evaluation in different types of buildings and aims to explore the SRI methodology and gain valuable insights into its practical application in Greece.

Dr. Stamatia Rizou, R&D Manager at SingularLogic and coordinator of the SRI-ENACT project, noted: «The cooperation among the partners involved in the Greek SRI Cluster will amplify the impact of projects and research endeavors in the field of SRI. For the SRI-ENACT project, SingularLogic implements a digital tool for evaluating the smart readiness indicator of buildings and, in collaboration with the National Technical University of Athens, coordinates its pilot application in more than 100 buildings in Greece that are included in the country's SRI test phase».
