SingularLogic completed the Oracle Database upgrade project for ASPROFOS S.A.
SingularLogic has successfully completed an Oracle Database upgrade project for ASPROFOS S.A., a member of HELLENiQ ENERGY. For more than 40 years, ASPROFOS S.A. has been actively involved in most major energy projects implemented in Greece and abroad, offering various services such as Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), detailed design, project management, and construction supervision.
ASPROFOS S.A. has incorporated a multi-level digital transformation into its strategic plan to leverage innovative technologies to enhance its operations. In line with this initiative, SingularLogic, a member of Space Hellas Group, was entrusted with upgrading its Oracle Database and associated applications.
The project incorporated upgrading the Oracle Database to version 19c, in which more than 600 company applications and graphics were migrated with an enhanced User Interface and functionality assessments across over 600 applications and graphics. The upgrade improves performance, scalability, and access to new features while ensuring faster data processing, advanced security capabilities, and immediate compliance with standards and regulations. The Oracle infrastructure was installed on Microsoft Azure, providing the company with a robust, secure, and flexible data storage and management environment while contributing to cost reduction and improved operational efficiency.
SingularLogic used its proven methodologies and techniques for this project, provided administrator training, and delivered pilot operation services. It will also offer ongoing support and high-quality services to ASPROFOS S.A., ensuring the system's optimal and uninterrupted operation.
