SingularLogic and Select Software join forces
Athens, 30 October 2014: SingularLogic and Select Software have announced the beginning of their cooperation. Their joint venture is to invest in the development of modern SW applications which will be based on SingularLogic’s Galaxy platform and will draw on the long-term experience Select Software has in providing customised IT services to companies which need to monitor and have control over their activities.
The cooperation agreement between the two companies follows three pillars:
To enrich the Galaxy application suite by adding new specialized features, such as remote monitoring and remote auditing, and by drawing on the know-how acquired by Select Software throughout the years. To help the existing customers of Select Software, as well as some of their partnering companies, to migrate to modern Galaxy technology in the safest and more efficient way. To promote the new solution among SingularLogic's partner network aiming to attract new customers-companies with relevant needs.
The first deployment in the context of this new partnering is a fact; it was made to the largest Greek Super Market Chain Group ELOMAS with 540 stores in every corner of the world serving millions of consumers.
ELOMAS decision to invest in the Galaxy technology is justified by the application’s unique features, such as its simple and user-friendly interface, its infinite capabilities for adaptation and customization irrespective of the physical environment, eg. desktop PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, the rich and detailed information provided through a number of ready-to-print statistical reports, the extraordinary user experience, speed and reliability, as well as the easy upgrade process. All the above combined with Select Software’s specialized knowhow, which is incorporated in the new solution, equip ELOMAS with an important competitive advantage, so that the Group is better prepared to adapt to the rapidly changing environment in which it operates.
