Athens, 25th July 2013: In the context of its Corporate Social Responsibility, SingularLogic fosters business innovation by supporting relevant initiatives by certain organizations. One of the events it sponsors by providing free software to the winners, is the "Make Innovation Work” competition organized for the second time by the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce and the Athens Stock Market.
The competition aims to select and implement comprehensive integrated innovative business proposals in 5 thematic sectors, with a view to fostering Greek competitiveness and creating new job positions.
Mrs. Marika Labrou, SingularLogic’s Managing Director, stated: “over the past year, in the framework of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme, we have been actively participating in actions fostering business innovation because we believe that in the dire times we are experiencing, technology companies ought to offer their support to actions promoting innovative ideas and increase competitiveness. Nonetheless, we must not forget that tech companies are the principle supporters in the implementation of such programmes.”
The launching of the competition was officially announced by the organizers on July 23rd, 2013 and will be completed in March 2014 with the awarding ceremony. The winner will be awarded the sum of €45,000 and free access to services by specialized companies for the implementation of their proposal.
