SingularLogic Galaxy Reaches Seychelles!

Athens, 13 May 2015: After being launched in the Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania markets, SingularLogic's Galaxy business applications have now reached the island of Seychelles! The Seychelles Islands Foundation (SIF), a state-owned Foundation that manages and protects the World Heritage Sites of Aldabra and Vallee de Mai (as designated by UNESCO) with a view to conserving wildlife and natural history selected the Galaxy One Touch Retail to cover its specialised managerial and operational needs for the sale of products and services at PoS.

The project includes two implementation phases: the front-office and the back-office operations. As regards the front-office operations, the software will be used in the cafeteria, souvenir shop and ticket issue PoS in the above locations. Given that fast customer service and application reliability are matters of critical importance for this customer, the Galaxy One Touch Retail can cover efficiently the tourist shops requirements where transactions must be swift and effective.

The Foundation's decision to invest in the latest Galaxy technology lies in the unique features of the application which offers optimal management capabilities for the three locations, independent operation of PoS and fast service for tourists/ retail customers.

SingularLogic Cyprus commissioned its authorized partner, Infotrend Innovations Co Ltd, a company based in Cyprus which also does business in the markets of the Middle East and Africa, for the supply, installation, staff training and project implementation within the designated time-limit. Infotrend's role in this project is the daily support of the 12 users and the preparation for the second phase of the project, which includes the computerization of the Management's headquarters.
