SingularLogic: new myGalaxy view for remote access to critical business information through the cloud and mobile computing

Athens, 25th June 2014: SingularLogic announces the release of the new myGalaxy view service which offers remote access to critical business information through any Internet-enabled device, such as smartphones, tablets, PCs and laptops.

The service is offered at no additional cost to all existing customers with valid upgrade agreements for all SingularLogic applications and is intended for all company members, from entrepreneurs to sales people and production executives, and for all employees who are often on the road.

In particular, the new feature allows modern entrepreneurs to have access to and a complete picture of business data whether at the office or not, providing hence better control, enhanced flexibility and improved streamlining. Access is provided for all kinds of critical information such as customer and sales data, cash flows, securities, stock, raw material availability etc, which, through the use of dynamic filters, is displayed in a user-friendly interface in the form of reports, charts and maps. It also enables users to create customized reports, charts and maps ensuring thus a wider spectrum of options.

In cooperation with Microsoft, SingularLogic has also developed a free Windows Store application for myGalaxy view. This will allow users to have remote access to and use reports, charts and maps designed for the SingularLogic applications through their portable devices (laptops, tablets) operating on Windows 8.1.

The application is based on Microsoft’s “Modern UI” design philosophy which utilizes all touch capabilities and all the benefits of Windows 8.1 to the full extent. These include the ability to select the on-screen tile size, the ability to store generated reports and application settings on the cloud and share them with other applications, the ability to generate notifications etc. There is also the respective desktop application through which users can manage and expand the data available through myGalaxy view on Windows 8.1.

Some of the main features of myGalaxy view designed exclusively for portable devices operating on Windows 8.1 are:

Fast and easy user navigation to every page of the application through the app navigation bar Easy selection of reports, charts and maps to mark as Favorites, and classification by colour and pattern Saving reports in PDF and Excel format (Saved reports) in the application server. Users can then select to transfer and store a saved report in their computers, which can then be accessed by any device. Error log

Finally, it is worth noting that the new myGalaxy view service by SingularLogic complies with the company’s application security subsystem as it only grants access to data that the user who logs in the application is allowed to view.
